Aquaventure is the largest waterpark in the Middle East and Europe, is a must-see attraction in Dubai. As its name suggests it is both "aqua" and "adventure" all in one. It's packed with the most grand, exciting and thrilling rides you could imagine! It is situated on the beautiful Island that is Palm Jumeirah, alongside Atlantis the Palm Resort. On the 24th of September, 2008 it opened its doors to the general public.

Entry Fee : Adults pay AED 299 and for children it's AED 249



The massive theme park features more than 105 rides and water slides over three towers : the Tower of Neptune, The Tower of Poseidon and the Trident Tower. Atlantis, Sofitel and FAM Living are the hotels that are located close to the waterpark.

Top five rides : The Leap of Faith, Shark Attack, Poseidon's Revenge Blackout & Aquaconda.

(Q) What should I wear to Aquaventure?

(A) Only guests wearing proper swimming attire are allowed to take advantage of the rides, slides as well as other facilities at Aquaventure as well as the beach. Bikinis, swim shorts and swimsuits, as well as burkinis or rashguards are appropriate on the beach.

Tips To Avoid Crowds at the Waterpark :

1. Do not visit the waterpark during school or public holidays.

2. Beware of the weekends, as there are bound to be a large number of people. On weekdays, you're the best option.

3. Be there early in the morning to avoid lines that form during the day.

4. Avoid the months of December and January as schools are on winter break and it becomes a peak period.
